It's been several days each time we go in for GvG, we face several teams on hunter's isle and people are not loading...
So basically, we get free 1200 factions, but it is seriously boring when 8 out of 10 opponents are such, and i believe those people are just doing it in purpose( for a reason that i still do not get, maybe just to avoid gaining/losing rating while syncing, i don't know..)..

This basically happened either in 750 rating guild and when playing in 1180 rating( waiting times are about the same) and those opponents are all between 300 and 800 rating..

Are there other people noticing that as well or is it just me playing on wrong hours?

Yea, what these teams do, as far as I understand, is farm faction from each other. They're bots that just go all day and gain faction from each other. It really does suck though, cus you don't get a chance to play, and there's not chance of getting strongboxes since the match is over before 5 minutes.

I could definitely be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is what you're talking about

sadly there are few that play for fun anymore.... its all about how quickly you can exploit rewards/titles for E-Ego..... you look at some people's HoM that have max luck/unlucky, max treasure hunter, and max zrank.... they don't have things they actually have to play and can't bot... like guardian, vanquisher, cartography, or completion of elite areas.

8/10? Sounds like exaggeration, but yes these sync's exist and as mentioned it's strongbox farm (either personal use or RMT i guess).

Doesn't really affect people though, cos you'd have faced another player team were there any anyway. Getting rid of them won't give you games instead.

Unfortunately as you say seems you need to try playing a slightly different time.

8/10 isn't exageration because it doesn't count as a fight... Basically, i can fight that guild which didn't load over and over each 3mn... So i could say, np we still get easy 1200 factions, but that's not really the point of the format...

And yes, you don't earn any strongbox, rating, zquest trigger because no opponent did load so the fight is finished after 1 mn.. Like i said, i personnaly think it's just a way to farm a few factions on non- quest day without gaining any rating, so it helps for quest farm on zquest day....

I seriously think however they should consider something against multi-launch as this is completly ruining the whole organized PvP, since people tend to realize they get a big profit by just not playing rather than playing...

You misunderstood my strongbox point, the no-loads are sync teams at the low rating with the purpose of farming strongboxes. I didn't mean your team.

But you don't get strongboxes below 950 rating and anyway the match is less than a min... That's all what i would like to know : what's the purpose of this... In Codex or HA you get title points and strongboxes, but on such low ratings you don't...

Point is there is a reward for doing it, be it strongbox(if they sync vs a motherguild of some sort) or just plain faction on numerous accounts. What you need to do is indeed to stop playing at whatever hours you are usually playing. Quit your day job and play earlier or move to Europe, for this problem as surely as ra/ca sync is not going away.

Problem With this is, they obviously use bots which they leave all day on to earn money for them. So yeah, it's cheating and not just abusing the exploit.

People that are explicitely annoying other people plus making a big profit from that should be banned, but the ones not directly shouldn't( or let's say they shouldn't be the ONLY ones to get banned)...

Overall, whether a bot is farming ectos or farming elona reach all the day ( or some unknown place) he will still make a lot of money on the long run, but this isn't really annoying anyone... In GvG, these people are just making fair players waste their time.. It's the same about Codex or HA, when people are raging when they lose or are going to lose the next fight, which is really pathetic....Do you think it's quite normal that some people are like " WTS 2000 strategist strongboxes" from an arena which never had more than 1/3 of a district ??

yep, every game that involves currency gets exploited in a way or another, nothing new at all and as someone said earlier pick a better time to gvg/ha/codex (ie. non asia-pacific), where you will face alot less bots.
